What is Car Planner?
Car Planner is a free web app for people buying a used car in Slovenia. You paste the links of the ads you want to see, or add cars by hand. It pins every seller on a map, sorts the visits into the fastest driving order and gives an arrival time for each stop.
Which ad sites can Car Planner read?
The common used-car ad sites in Slovenia. Paste a link and the planner tells you straight away whether it can read it. A car from any other site, or one you saw on the street, can be added by hand.
How do I see several used cars in one day?
Add every car on your shortlist, then set where you start and what time you leave. Car Planner orders the stops by real driving time and shows when you will reach each seller, so you can call ahead and book the viewings.
Is it free?
Yes. Planning without an account is free, and so is the account.
Do I need an account?
No. Without one you can add cars by hand and plan the route. The list stays in this browser tab until you close it. Sign in to import ad links, keep and share lists, export CSV and open the route in Google Maps.
What happens to my data?
Your lists belong to your account and stay private until you share them. Shared pages leave out phone numbers and private sellers' names. Usage statistics run only if you allow them in cookie settings. Details are in the privacy policy.
How is the order of the stops worked out?
From driving times on the OpenStreetMap road network for Slovenia. Car Planner picks the order with the shortest total driving time, then adds the viewing time you set for each car.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The planner is built for phones first. Call sellers from the card and follow the route on the day.
Is Car Planner part of a car marketplace?
No. Car Planner is an independent service and is not affiliated with any car marketplace. It reads the public ad pages you send it and keeps a copy of the details in your list.
